Dr Ville Karhunen

Ville holds a PhD in statistical and molecular epidemiology from Imperial College London and has been recognized as a docent in Genetic Epidemiology by the University of Oulu, Finland. With over a decade of experience in epidemiological research, his work has primarily focused on applied Mendelian randomization and colocalization studies. He is also a Senior Research Associate at the MRC Biostatistics Unit at the University of Cambridge, where he specializes in developing and applying genetically informed methods to address clinically relevant questions.

At Sequoia Genetics, Ville brings his statistical expertise to the team by providing guidance and conducting statistical analyses across various projects.
