Sequoia Genetics is proud to announce that we have won the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Award at the UK Pharma Industry Awards 2025.
At this week’s gala night in London, companies from across the UK gathered to celebrate innovation and excellence in the life sciences sector. Sequoia was recognised for the way we build and sustain our team, through our application “Diversity by Design: Building Inclusion from Day One.”
Our team now numbers 13, representing 11 nationalities and speaking 14 languages, with expertise spanning medicine, genetics, epidemiology, statistics, and data science. Diversity has never been a policy we set out to enforce, it has grown organically through an open and inclusive approach that values contribution over convention.
This diversity has become a defining part of Sequoia’s success, enabling us to approach scientific questions from multiple perspectives, foster a collaborative culture, and deliver stronger solutions for our partners in biotech and pharma.
